CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS

Construction of the new 32 km of the D4 motorway continues as planned and work is underway on all sections

By the end of 2023, almost 80% of the project was completed.
Rough bridge construction is largely complete. A total of 40 bridges, underpasses or culverts will be built, 20 of which will be for wildlife.
Construction is proceeding in parallel on all five sections from Háj to Skalka beyond Mirotice.
During the first half of the year, all roadways along the entire length of the D4 route will be gradually prepared. This means that in addition to the gravel base layers, asphalt layers will also be laid. The final, so-called wearing course, on which cars will already be driving, will be laid in the autumn.
A very important part of the construction is the comprehensive information system. That is why the laying of cable lines will begin as soon as the construction season starts, and the cables will converge at the operations centre (SSÚK) at the Lety intersection.
